Everything Happens For A Reason (#2)

In a previous post titled Everything Happens For A Reason (#1), I wrote about things happening for a reason due to the law of cause and effect. I stated that how we respond to people or situations is what matters most regardless of why something happens.

Recently, I ended a close friendship with a male companion. This person and I are both good people but we stopped being compatible as close friends. The fact that our friendship ended is a little emotionally upsetting because we became very familiar with one another, and got used to being around each other and spending time together.

However, I know that our friendship came to an end for a reason or reasons (with an 's'!). I know that in being spiritual beings having a human experience, sometimes we meet people who ride with us on the journey of life until it's time for them to make an exit or take a detour in a different direction.

When this happens we may feel sad. We might miss them very much. However, in keeping up our faith that everything really does happen for a reason, we should do our best to look at the good of the present and expect the very best for the future.

Wasting too much lamenting, about what could have or should have been, only serves to take away from what you could be doing now in preparation for what you desire to do next. Read that last sentence in bold type again and again until it sinks in for you.

Regardless of what is going on in your life, there is always something to be grateful for. Focus on the good and know that everything really does happen for a reason.

Best wishes for your optimal health and wellness,
Kaja Green-Tovar

p.s. I'm loving this beautiful thing we call Life!
