Want More Peace in Your Life?

To have peace is to be untroubled, content, and without strife. So how can you attain peace in your life? By THINKING peace, you will have peace.

That sounds so simple, you may be thinking. However, it is true. To have peace you must think in a peaceful manner. Your perceptions must be determinedly peaceful. Take note of the term determinedly. Determining to have peace is vital because while we are spiritual beings having a human experience, we experience different feelings when faced with people or situations that make us feel uncomfortable in some way.

By choosing (determining) to be peaceful, we are exerting calm, conscious control over how we respond. When confronting any person or situation that we are not in agreement with, we get to determine if our response will be a peaceful one.

Sometimes a peaceful response is to simply be silent. Other times, it may be to acknowledge the other person's point-of-view while agreeing to disagree without putting the other person down, name-calling, or engaging in some other belligerent tactic. Occasionally, a peaceful response might entail gathering statistical data to show the other party why you think a certain way and then let the individual decide for him or herself how they will proceed.

Basically, calmly staying true to yourself while letting others be who they are will help you to inherit a more peaceful existence.

I hope reading this has been helpful in your quest for a more peaceful life.

Best wishes for your optimal health and wellness,
